A New Test Mode Simulator Drop
Frustration Free MTU and eGift Development
Zendit welcomes our new simulation tool for MTU products (Mobile Top Up, Mobile Data and Mobile Bundle) and eGift and Utility products to the test mode experience.
Have you been trying to integrate and trying to find products that work in the simulated development environment but plagued by product failures? The wait is over and the new simulators will fulfill products without getting the limited list from us.
A few release notes on the functionality:
- Products require a valid phone number for the destination country
- Valid phone numbers will not be checked that they are valid for the carrier
- eGifts that require a recipient phone number will also require a valid phone number for the destination country
- Products using a faked number for a destination country will fail the phone number validation check and produce a failure
What does this mean? You can do a test purchase in the sandbox of an Guatemala product (using example +50224581863) and the product will fulfill whether it’s a Claro product or Tigo product. However, a test for an Afganistan product using the faked number +93201112222 will fail because it’s not a valid phone number.
This upgraded feature should make testing integration on almost any product a breeze. Found one that didn’t work with a valid phone number, drop us a note to support@zendit.io including the request you used on the API (don’t send us your API key) to let us know and we’ll look into why simulation on the product failed.
